In order to safely navigate the waters at night, it is crucial to have a thorough understanding of the surrounding environment, including traffic patterns, currents, and coastline. Our night sailing course aims to equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills to confidently sail at night with minimal risks.

Night Sailing Course
One of the key aspects of night sailing is having an experienced skipper at the helm. The darkness adds an extra layer of complexity to even the simplest maneuvers, making it essential to have a skilled and knowledgeable leader. Through our course, you will gain a deeper understanding of the unique factors that come into play when sailing at night, allowing you to take on more ambitious sailing plans on your own.

- Four-hour sailing course.
- Instructor and sailboat.
Information of interest:
- Gift cards available! You can request a personalised gift to give to friends or family!
- The departure and arrival point is the Real Club Náutico de Vigo.
- We embark at sunset, so the schedule varies depending on the time of year.
- Access level: Advanced. It is necessary to have previous sailing experience, know the basic rules of RIPA and
the different buoys, beacons and marks. - Minimum age: 18 years old.
- The course combines theory classes and practical sailing lessons.
- The content is divided into several modules: identification of lighthouses and marks; navigation lights; use of radar;
safety elements. - We have facilities with toilets and changing rooms where you can change and take a shower after the course.
- A minimum group size of 4 is requiered to go ahead with the course.
