Spend a day aboard a Volvo 70 and feel the excitement and emotion experienced by professional sailors who participate in the prestigious round-the-world Ocean Race. On the Volvo 70 one-day trip, you will gain an insight into the lives of truly elite sportsmen and women. You will have the opportunity to try out multiple roles and maneuvers, but above all, you will love the thrill of a day aboard the true formula one of the sea!
The adventure begins at 10.00 a.m. with a briefing session on board given by professional sailor Gonzalo Araujo. Once familiarised with the boat and the necessary safety precautions, we set off for the waters of the estuary to begin the adventure. As we navigate the beautiful Ria of Vigo, you will have the opportunity to pilot the boat and participate in the maneuvers as we fly through the Vigo estuary on our twenty-metre thoroughbred. If the conditions allow it, we can even head for the open ocean, beyond the archipelago of the Cies Islands.
Becoming a Volvo 70 team member for the day and sailing with a professional crew is akin to a world-class training session, with the added bonus of being in the perfect setting offered by the fantastic Galician coastline. After an unforgettable day of sailing, we will return to the Marina of Punta Lagoa in Vigo, docking at approximatly 18:00.

Information of Interest:
- Gift cards available! You can request a personalised gift to give to friends or family!
- The departure and arrival point is the Marina Punta Lagoa.
- Activity starts at 10.00 am and finishes at a latest of 18.00 pm.
- A minimum of 8 passangers are requiered for the activity to go ahead, up to a maximum of 12.
- No experience requiered. Passangers must be at least 16 years of age. Anynone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
- We recommend wearing waterproof boats and clothing
- Favourable wind and weather conditions are requiered for this special activity, therfore we will confirm the experience a few days before departure. In the case that we cannot go ahead with the activity, we will offer you an alternative date, a gift card valid for one year, or a refund.
- The route and schedule may be modified due to weather or safety issues based on the crew’s experience; this decision will be made by the skipper. Your safety isof the utmost importance.
